　自动化设备在全世界的范围内都已经普及，而PLC又是自动化设备开发的主要元器件之一。我们都知道美国是当今世界头号的汽车大国，被人称作汽车轮子上的国家，这里无论在汽车保有量，还是汽车产能方面，都处于领先位置，这里对PLC的需求量是非常巨大的，可以说这对国产厂家PLC来说，是个巨大的值得开发的市场，但又是一个非常难以进入的市场。
　　首先，国产PLC起步较晚，从技术上来说，较为落后。虽说最近十几年，中国的汽车技术进步很快，但是相对于欧美等发展国家来说，还有一定的差距。虽然在PLC方面，我们有可能实现弯道超车，但是短时间内，还存在不小的难度。其次，产品认知度不高，在美国没有什么名气，因此很多获得美国汽车制造企业的订单;而且美国PLC厂家出于自己利益的考虑，也会打压国产PLC厂家，即使自己不挣钱，也不让国产PLC厂家获得订单。最后，为了保护本国企业的利益出发，欧美对在制度设计上，对国产PLC厂家产品打入欧美国家还存在一些不利的限制条件。
　　国产PLC要想打入欧美市场，首先要选择一个突破口，就想海尔、华为等企业，选择一个突破点，在当地打出自己的名气，逐步的被当地人接受国产PLC，这是一个值得效仿的策略。由点到线，由线到面，逐步推进，逐步渗透，最终获得当地客户的充分的信任和认可。统计数据显示，美国是当代的PLC生产大国，全国有一百多家PLC厂家，著名的有A-B公司、通用电气(GE)公司、莫迪康(MODICON)公司、德州仪器(TI)公司、西屋公司等。其中A-B公司是美国最大的PLC制造商，其产品约占美国PLC市场的一半。国产PLC要想在美国赢得自己的市场发展空间，必须先从小众市场入手，避免与前面几个大公司正面竞争，采用蚕食的方式，逐步的获得当地市场的认可。
　　要想进入美国市场，国产PLC的还有很长的路要走。一方面，应该本着慢工出细活，功到自然成的原则，走循序渐进的道路，另一方面，也要努力钻研，用拳头产品撬开美国PLC市场的大门，打造一个爆款国产PLC产品，让美国人对咱国产plc刮目相看，这样他们才会真正相信国产PLC厂家的实力。相信国内企业终会在欧美市场获得自己的一席之地。
