UPS不间断电源维护及保养: 保持适宜的环境温度:影响蓄电池寿命的重要因素是环境温度,一般电池生产厂家要求的最佳环境温度是在20-25℃之间。虽然温度的升高对电池放电能力有所提高,但付出的代价却是电池的寿命大大缩短。据试验测定,环境温度一旦超过25℃,每升高10℃,电池的寿命就要缩短一半。目前山特UPS所用的蓄电池一般都是免维护的密封铅酸蓄电池,设计寿命普遍是6年,这在电池生产厂家要求的环境下才能达到。达不到规定的环境要求,其寿命的长短就有很大的差异。另外,环境温度的提高,会导致电池内部化学活性增强,从而产生大量的热能,又会反过来促使周围环境温度升高,这种恶性循环,会加速缩短电池的寿命。二、定期充电放电:山特UPS电源中的浮充电压和放电电压,在出厂时均已调试到额定值,而放电电流的大小是随着负载的增大而增加的,使用中应合理调节负载,比如控制微机等电子设备的使用台数。一般情况下,负载不宜超过山特UPS额定负载的60%。在这个范围内,电池的放电电流就不会出现过度放电。UPS因长期与市电相连,在供电质量高、很少发生市电停电的使用环境中,蓄电池会长期处于浮充电状态,日久就会导致电池化学能与电能相互转化的活性降低,加速老化而缩短使用寿命。因此,一般每隔2-3个月应完全放电一次,放电时间可根据蓄电池的容量和负载大小确定。一次全负荷放电完毕后,按规定再充电8小时以上。三、利用通讯功能:目前,绝大多数大、中型山特UPS都具备与微机通讯和程序控制等可操作性能。在微机上安装相应的软件,通过串/并口连接山特UPS,运行该程序,就可以利用微机与山特UPS进行通讯。一般具有信息查询、参数设置、定时设定、自动关机和报警等功能。通过信息查询,可以获取市电输入电压、山特UPS输出电压、负载利用率、电池容量利用率、机内温度和市电频率等信息;通过参数设置,可以设定山特UPS基本特性、电池可维持时间和电池用完告警等。通过这些智能化的操作,大大方便了山特UPS电源及其蓄电池的使用管理
关于安装及维修APCups电源的问题,很多客户包括我的朋友问我如何安装以及维修,每一次问一次我都回答一次,今天APCups电源网做一次解答。希望能给朋友们一定的帮助。我大全的写一下手册吧
一、UPS之装设
1.地线
1)基本上,要使UPS有防雷击能力而不损毁,一定要有地线。故APC强烈建议使用
者安装地线。
2)Smart-UPS背板有一 “Site Wiring Fault” 红色LED。此灯亮起时表示地线
不良,可能为以下三种情形之一:
z无地线
z极性颠倒
z中线过载
2.插头
1)2200VA以上之UPS其电线电流负荷量达15A以上,因此其插头为20A以上。这种
情况下,以SU3000为例,自配电盘的保险丝开始,配线、插座、UPS插头、UPS
电源线,UPS断电器等全部须能负荷30A以上,才是安全的用电环境。2200VA以
上随机附有适用插座,请参阅下表。

2)若客户选购此种大VA数之UPS只为Runtime长,事实上负载并不大时,可以只
更换插头。
3.扩充卡安装
1)安装扩充卡前,请先将UPS放电。(Smart-UPS)
2)如遇UPS有任何不正常情况,请先移除所有连接的扩充卡再行测试。
4.装设完成
1.安装完成后开机,UPS即开始自我测试。任何时候怀疑Smart-UPS有不正常情况,
请尝试冷启动。(建议安装完先充电几小时)
2.建议以UPS开关为总开关。
二、软件安装
1.安装PowerChute Plus
1)自光盘安装
z 选择安装PowerChute或PowerNet
z 选择PowerChute for Windows or Windows 95或for NT
z 如选择NT则会先Stop UPS Service
z 选择Install Directory
z 选择UPS Model Type:SmartUPS, BackUPS, Matrix
z 选择Com Port
2)自APC网站上下载的程序安装

z 确定Cable已确实接好,并已打开UPS开关。
z 确定只有UPS在使用指定的COM Port。
z 确定使用的Cable是正确的。

四、Smart-UPS维修
1.可先尝试冷启动,若无法冷启动,则UPS为故障。
2.可先去除所有配件,以简化问题。
3.请检查背板的自动断电器(Circuit Breaker)有无跳起。(可能因为超载)
4.如UPS有冒烟、烧焦或焦味,则UPS为故障。
5.如UPS面板灯全闪,则UPS为故障。
6.如更换电池灯号亮起,可先将UPS充电整夜,再进行自我测试。
7.如超载灯号亮起,请减低负载。

六、软件操作设定
如何设定PowerChute Plus自动关机时间
(以NT版为例)
在PowerChute Plus中,可自行设定要关机的电力事件,包括停电、温度过高、定
时开关机…等等。这些电力事件都列在Configuration选项下的Event Actions中。针
对这些不同的电力事件,每一种都可以自行设定不同的关机程序。
在Event Actions中,左半部Events列出的即为电力事件,右半部Actions for
Selected Event列出的是所要的反应。这里提供的反应有Log Event(将此事件记录于
Event Log中)、Notify Administrators(以message通知系统管理员)、Notify Users
(以message通知指定的User)、Run Command File(关机前先执行指定的程序,用
以关闭Lotus Notes Server、Oracle等)、Send E-Mail(发NT mail)、Page Users
(透过调制解调器发讯号给呼叫器)、Shut Down Server(关机)等七种。
以下我们以停电为例,来设定UPS关机的程序。
1.假设我们想要在停电时,让UPS自动关闭操作系统、计算机及UPS本身,则首先
在Configuration中选Event Actions。在左半部Events中,选UPS On Battery。右
半部Actions for Selected Event中,已预选了Log Eve、Notify User和Shut Down
Server。请选Shut Down Server并按Options,此处要设定UPS以电池供电后多久开
始关机程序。根据负载及需求,输入适当的时间。假设是300秒。此时间过后,将开始
关机程序。
2.接下来请选Events中的System Shutdown Starting的Options。此处设定的关
机开始延迟时间是给上述所提Run Command File程序执行时间用。假设是30秒。此时
间过后,将开始关闭操作系统。
3.接下来请选Configuration中的UPS Shutdown Parameters。在UPS Turn Off
Delay中,有20、160、300、600秒四个选项。此为操作系统关闭最少所需时间。在此
时间后,UPS将自动关闭。如有选底下的Automatic Reboot,则UPS不是关闭而是进入
休眠状态,此时UPS面板灯号轮流闪
烁。UPS将在侦测到市电恢复后自行
开启并开启计算机。

Starting的延迟时间两者之较长者。设定的时间请以实机试验决定。
